In 2022, our vineyard thrived and produced a generous harvest despite the challenges posed by extreme heat. Through meticulous care and dedication to natural farming methods, we were able to overcome this period without resorting to artificial irrigation. We limited their use strictly to maintaining the vitality of the vineyard instead of increasing or preserving the expected harvest.
The 2021 vintage not only continued the tradition of our “crypto” cuvées, but also broadened its horizons by finding its way to Switzerland thanks to a fruitful partnership with ETTER Distillery in Zug. The 2021 cuvées — white (ETH), rosé (BTC) and red (DOT) — triggered a wide range of reactions. While the flavors enchanted both local and international connoisseurs, the avant-garde design and presentation divided opinions, particularly among traditionalists.
To celebrate the gold medal received at the “Berliner Wine Trophy 2023", the Rosado (BTC) was offered in a special Magnum format, limited to just 20 bottles, which marked a moment of pride and distinction for our vineyard. The red cuvée (DOT) received a remarkable upgrade, with a selected portion that spent six months in barriques, which increased its complexity and depth. This was further celebrated with the release of 150 limited edition magnum bottles and introduced an element of exclusivity to our offering.
In the midst of these developments, we began to lay the foundations for a new product line and brand, signaling the start of an exciting new chapter for our vineyard. This anticipation grows as we prepare to reveal more about this endeavor and promises innovations that reflect our continued development and commitment to excellence.
