The Vinya Tribaneli vineyards cover the gently rolling terrain of Algaida, 25 km inland east of Palma, near a small torrente. Surrounded by small forests whose presence echoes in the name — derived from the Arabic word al-gaida (“the forest”). The sun warms the reddish soil of the vineyards during the day, while at night the fresh, spicy air from the forests around Castellitx de la Pau sweeps across the Tribaneli estates. The combination of hot days and warm nights, together with the geological and climatic diversity of this location, gives the wines their unique character.
