VINO DE LA ISLA stands for the regional variety of Mallorcan wines of the highest quality. The hand-picked wines, which are produced in the glass wine factory at Château VINO DE LA ISLA in Algaida, offer the highest Majorcan wine enjoyment, aromatic diversity and pure island feeling.

Deep inside the château — as in all other areas — great value is placed on absolute cleanliness, as this is crucial for the purity of the wines. To preserve the aroma, the musts are fermented in steel or wooden barrels in a cool but not cold state. The subsequent aging of the wines takes place in a specially air-conditioned part of the château, which has a high level of humidity. Depending on the type of wine, the wines mature in barrels for between 3 and 18 months, while barrique aging can take several years in some cases.

Wine lounge & shop
The château's wine lounge provides an elegant setting for enjoying exquisite wines. Guests have the opportunity to watch the winemakers produce the handmade wines through the glass walls of the wine factory. Wine tastings and guided tours are also available. Events are regularly held in the relaxed atmosphere of the château, including the already legendary Rosé Nights, which inspire with live music.
Our core grape variety, the local Giró Ros, is complemented by Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Viognier, which characterizes our “Molí Blanc” cuvée. White and rosé wines are particularly popular on Mallorca, which gives our rosado “Roselló”, composed from the autochthonous varieties Callet and Gorgollassa as well as Merlot and Syrah, a key role. The Cuvée Tinto “Rubí Marès” also combines Callet and Gorgollassa with Merlot and Syrah, which creates an exquisite harmony. Our barrique-aged Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon are among our specialities.
